Skillet Chicken Pot

What do you need to make Skillet Chicken Pot Pie 

Olive oil 

3 chicken breasts, cut into cubes 

Salt & pepper 

2 teaspoons thyme 

½ onion, chopped 

2 carrots, chopped

2 celery stalks, chopped 

3 tablespoons flour 

1 ½ cups frozen peas 

2 cups chicken broth 

2 tablespoons heavy cream 

1 can biscuits 

1 egg, beaten 

How to make Skillet Chicken Pot Pie

FIRST STEP:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees 

In a skillet over medium heat cook the chicken in a little olive oil, toss with salt & pepper and thyme, remove from skillet and set aside

SECOND STEP:

In the same skillet saute all of the vegetables until soft 

Sprinkle in flour and cook 2-3 minutes 

THIRD STEP:

Stir in broth and simmer for about 10 minutes 

FOURTH STEP:

Remove skillet from heat, stir in cream

Add chicken back to skillet and stir until well combined 

Cut each biscuit in half and lay them around the outer edge of the skillet

FIFTH STEP:

Brush the biscuits with the beaten egg
