Pumice can be taken with a cup of tea or a cup of coffee, which is a light dessert on the stomach and is prepared easily and does not need A lot of time, and in this article we will present you two ways to prepare the fragile Algerian pumice.

 Pumice with semolina

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup white flour.
  •  A cup of semolina.
  • Small spoon of salt.
  •  Two teaspoons of yeast.
  •  Warm water, add gradually, according to the type of flour.
  • Vegetable oil for frying.

How to prepare

  •  Dissolve the yeast with a little sugar and warm water and set aside to rise.
  •  Put the flour in a large, dark bowl, then add semolina, salt, and sugar, and stir together.
  • We add warm water gradually and start the kneading process until we have a soft and smooth dough.
  • Cover the dough well, then put it in a warm place for half an hour or until it is brewing.
  • We start by piling the dough into small balls.
  • Roll out the dough balls in the form of a small circular disk, then remove them from the middle.
  • Put the vegetable oil in a bowl on the stove and leave it until completely hot.
  •  We start by frying the pumice in hot oil, taking care to turn it several times until browning on all sides. Take out the pumice from the oil, then put it on kitchen paper to get rid of the excess oil.
  • Arrange it on the serving plate.
