Cold Tomato Soup

 Ingredients

  1. One kilo and three hundred grams of red tomatoes, peeled and roughly chopped.
  2.  The pulp of a loaf of French bread from the previous day (optional).
  3. A large sweet red pepper.
  4. Three cloves of garlic, chopped.
  5.  2 medium cucumbers, peeled and roughly chopped.
  6.  1 medium onion, roughly chopped.
  7.  Two teaspoons of white vinegar.
  8.  half cup of olive oil.
  9. Salt and black pepper, to taste.

Decorating components:

  • A quarter cup of each of:
                Chopped cucumber.
                Chopped red pepper.
                Chopped green apples.
  •  Half a cup of toast.
  •  Half a cup of boiled and chopped eggs.

 How to prepare

  1. Boil a quantity of water, then remove the pot from the heat, put the tomatoes in it for a minute, then take them out and peel them.
  2. Soak the bread core in a small amount of water, then squeeze it and set it aside.
  3. Put tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, garlic, peppers and onions in the electric mixer and turn on to get a smooth mixture, then add vinegar and mix again.
  4.  Add the oil in the form of a string while the mixer is turned on until the amount is finished and the mixture is homogeneous.
  5. Pour the mixture into a non-metallic bowl, season it with salt and black pepper, then cover it and store it in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  6. Take the soup out of the refrigerator and pour it into serving dishes and decorate it to taste with eggs, green apples, toast, cucumbers and red pepper.
